We offer a comprehensive range of lifting clutches for lifting pre-cast panels, pipes or columns. Generally, lifting clutches come in two different designs, including general lifting clutches and edge lifting clutches. Rigging Rentals hold both variations in a range of capacities to suit your application.
Firstly, we will look at general lifting clutches, these take anchors referred to mushroom heads used in a wide range of pre-cast concrete products from pit lids through to large bridge beams, these clutches come in the capacities of 1.3, 2.5, 5.0, 10, 20 and 32 tonne. We hold multiple of each size including eight of the 32 tonne for multi-point lifts.
Edge lifting clutches are used in pre-cast concrete panel erection and work in conjunction with proprietary anchor systems, Rigging Rentals hold both Reid and Ancon clutches in our range of 5, 7 and 10 tonne.
Most importantly all lifting clutches are marked with the manufacturer name, WLL, serial number or batch number and subject to a proof load test annually per the Australian Standard 3850 – 2003 and fitted with a tag by our test provider. Rigging Rentals can supply individual test certificates for each and every clutch upon request.
